The rooms are clean and well maintained. They helped me find a motorbike to hire with ease. I looked forward to having their nasi goreng and ginger tea for breakfast. I found the area to be quiet (you might hear the occasional karaoke but it didn't last all night and some dogs/roosters in the distance at morning - although I didn't mind).

Sangrila can arrange the boattrip to 17 islands for a reasonable price and arranges also transport to your next destination close to restaurants and oposite a supermarket was an outstanding nice time at this guesthouse. terimah kasih

Beautiful place, very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and truly wonderful, kind hearted owner who’ll make you feel like a part of his family. There is a good wi-fi connection here. The guesthouse can also help you with organizing boat trip to 17 Islands nature park. We had a trip with amazing Captain Adam and it was really great experience for a very good price.

A recently renovated homestay located in Labuan Bajo, Sten Lodge eco Homestay features a garden. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. What did I like about the property? Well everything actually! We liked it soo much we visited twice in a few days. The location is just amazing. A little bit away from the main road (not a very good road though) and therefore very quiet. The place is surrounded by beautiful forests full of birds. The lodges are simple but exactly enough. Be aware there’s no electricity and wifi, so make sure to charge your devices. The food is simply astonishing. Locally grown, made on woodfire and served with love. We ordered the vegan option, which was very reasonably priced. The staff working there is very kind and hospitable. If you look for accommodation close to Labuan Bajo or on your way to the east, definitely stay here!

Sun Rice Homestay is a recently renovated homestay in Ruteng, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Such a great place to stay and check out Ruteng. Everything was made so easy by Jeff who picked us up from the bus, and organised onward travel. He welcomed us formally, talked to us about his culture and traditions and dinner with the others who were staying was really fun. The morning walk guided by Jeff through the river fields was beautiful too. 10/10 if you are interested in learning about Manggarai people and having a truly welcoming experience.

Boasting a bar and views of city, Escape Bajo is a recently renovated guest house situated in Labuan Bajo, 500 metres from Wae Rana Beach. I loved staying here. The staff is so nice!!! Everyone is always so smiling and kind. The bed in the dorm was the biggest I have ever seen and was very comfortable. The sheets were clean and smelled nice. Bathroom always clean with soap and shampoo. The chocolate cake is amazing and the view to the harbour exceptional. You are 5 minutes away for shops and the center (by foot). It is also a quiet dorm. Very classy place and nice vibes.

Extremely friendly host in a cozy homestay (you really live with their family). Rooms were comfortable and the shared bathroom well maintained. Don’t bother eating somewhere else in the city, because the food prepared at the homestay was really amazing! Richardo is a great host who actively helps you planning your Flores itinerary. In the end, we used his place as a hub to visit Wae Rebo and we rented a motor cycle from him to do a 6 day roadtrip (Ruteng - Bajawa - Kelimutu - Riung - Ruteng) and we ended up staying 3 times at Richardo’s home. He can also help you book buses from and to Ruteng. Summarised, highly recommended!

La Geiro Villa Labuan Bajo is a recently renovated homestay in Labuan Bajo, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. such a good and comfortable place to stay in. stuff are nice, rooms are so confortabel. also is very quiet. bed was so good. everything great!!

Featuring barbecue facilities, shared lounge and views of sea, ORA KOMODO HOME STAY is situated in Komodo, 1.9 km from Pink Beach. Easily one of the most rich experiences we have had on our travels. We enjoyed spending time with jecky’s family, eating delicious home cooked meals, seeing Komodos (of which there are many behind the village), trekking in the national park, swimming with mantas, hiking Padar…the list goes on! Even just sitting on the balcony and watching the fishing boats or the resident dugong play with a sea turtle is a great way to pass the time. Jecky is a great host and has great English. You can arrange/discuss all your travels and activities with him via WhatsApp prior. And his wife is a great cook! This is a unique opportunity you will be lucky to have. It’s a homestay (not some bland hotel experience) so come ready for adventure.

Great host, guide and a very intelligent and attentive person. Honest, knowledgeable and trustworthy. The best part of the home stay is that you can tailor your stay according to your needs and liking. Khulna is always there to help you and meet your needs. He also called me weeks before our arrival and sent all the pricing sharing his advice and suggestions. We saw many Komodo Dragons, fish, mantas and had great times every day. It was very hard to leave.We enjoyed the stay very much and will be back very soon!!!
